Two articles taken from the Hills Shire Times, 23rd May 2006 and Hawkesbury Gazette, 10th May 2006. A couple of misprints in both articles. George Kilpatrick in Melodee was the outright winner of the 1964 Bridge to Bridge in a time of 70 minutes. In 1971, he became the man to crack the 1 hour barrier in a displacement hull in a time of 58 minutes.
